Die Mavic 571/2 ist die zweite Generation der Mavic Kassettennaben und hat einen breiteren Flanschabstand als das Vorgängermodell. Neben der originären 571/2 (Mavic Aufnahme) gab es auch die Freilaufkörper-Varianten 571/2 HG (Shimano Aufnahme) sowie 571/2 ED (Campagnolo Aufnahme). Bei allen drei Varianten werden alle acht Ritzel gesteckt und mit einem Lockring gekontert.

The Mavic 571/2 is the second generation of Mavic cassette hubs and has a wider flange spacing than the previous model. In addition to the original 571/2 (Mavic mount), there were also the freewheel body variants 571/2 HG (Shimano mount) and 571/2 ED (Campagnolo mount). In all three variants, all eight cogs are plugged in and countered with a lockring.
